In some respects I suspect you'e got a respectable side

So I sent Colin home yesterday. Met Mom and Dad at the soccer field where Pat was playing and talked to them for a bit. Nothing special.

Colin, Becca and I went pumpkin picking at Hodgkin's on Wednesday. We went on the hayride out to the field. Colin picked out a little green pumpkin because I told him that he could only get a pumpkin that he could carry, both for principles sake and for my wallets sake. Becca and I both picked out decent sixed orange ones and we picked out a big green one for Justin, since he always carves the Green Lantern symbol in it. We walked through the petting zoo that had a big momma sow and her piglets, some sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens and two baby calves that sucked on our fingers. We bought little coloured corn, a bunch of gourds for the daycare kids and some apple cider that was pretty yummy. We came home and carved the pumpkins. Colin and I carved Harry Potter into his, Becca carved hearts ino hers, Justin carved the Green Lantern Symbol, of course, and I carved a pentacle with stars and moons around it, suprisingly half decent. Then Becca and I roasted the Pumpkin seeds while Justin and Colin went to the store to buy some milk to we could make little pumpkin pies. I think they turned out at least a bit decent. Justin and Pappy both said that they were okay.

On Thursday, Justin skipped the last couple classes he had and went apple picking with us at Dolans. We bought two bags of apples, a birdhouse gourd, and some apple crisp mixture. It was lots of fun, I love the smell of the apple orchard. I want one some day, a dozen or so trees, Gala, Fuji and Granny Smith. The hardest part is to keep the deer and animal away from the trees when they are young. I have no idea how all the orchard do it. Grant it most of them have been there for thirty or forty years so they are pretty much well past the age when they are still so vulnerable. Other then fences I do not know how to keep animals away.

You dont know what love is, you just do as your told

Yeah...
One, two, princes kneel before you
That's what I said, now
Princes, Princes who adore you
Just go ahead, now
One has diamonds in his pockets
That's some bread, now
This one, he wants to buy you rockets
Ain't in his head, now

This one, he got a princely racket
That's what I said, now
Got some big seal upon his jacket
Ain't in his head, now
You Marry him, your father will condone you
How bout that, now
You Marry me, your father will disown you
He'll eat his hat, now

Marry him or marry me,
I'm the one that loves you baby can't you see?
I Ain't got no future or a family tree,
But I know what a prince and lover ought to be,
I know what a prince and lover ought to be....

Said, if you want to call me baby
Just go ahead, now
And if you like to tell me maybe
Just go ahead, now
And If you wanna buy me flowers
Just go ahead, now
And if you like to talk for hours
Just go ahead, now

(Interlude)

I sabatoge myself for fear of what my joy could do

A Woman's Last Word

I.Let's contend no more, Love,
Strive nor weep:
All be as before, Love,
---Only sleep!

II.What so wild as words are?
I and thou
In debate, as birds are,
Hawk on bough!

III.See the creature stalking
While we speak!
Hush and hide the talking,
Cheek on cheek!

IV.What so false as truth is,
False to thee?
Where the serpent's tooth is
Shun the tree---

V.Where the apple reddens
Never pry---
Lest we lose our Edens,
Eve and I.

VI.Be a god and hold me
With a charm!
Be a man and fold me
With thine arm!

VII.Teach me, only teach, Love
As I ought
I will speak thy speech, Love,
Think thy thought---

VIII.Meet, if thou require it,
Both demands,
Laying flesh and spirit
In thy hands.

IX.That shall be to-morrow
Not to-night:
I must bury sorrow
Out of sight:

X---Must a little weep, Love,
(Foolish me!)
And so fall asleep, Love,
Loved by thee.

"You Are My Number One"

Hold me down
I'm gonna fly straight to heaven
Hold me down
Don't ever let go
I've been around
You know I can't stay forever
And when I leave
I want you to know -

When I'm finally gone, I'm gonna be gone without a trace
There's a lot of good times ahead before we're done
And on top of this list of things before I leave this place
You are my number one, yes you are my number one

Cause you can tell me lies, you know that I'd still believe you (say wha?)
Stay right here don't leave from that spot (come right back here my girl)
I can't go, you know I'm afraid to leave you
Don't you know? you're all that I've got
I'm afraid if you go you might disappear behind a mist
And I'd rather be hung from a tree or shot by a gun
And of all of these things that matter here upon my list
You are my number one, yes you are my number one

You are my number one (say so)
Trying to make it clear (good gosh)
Trying to let you know
When you're afraid
I'm gonna be there...

When I'm finally gone, I'm gonna be gone without a trace
There's a lot of good times ahead before we're done
And and and on top of this list of things before I leave this place
You are my number one
Yea you are my number one
Whoa baby, said you are my number one
You are my number one
